Description

Dehydrated morels. Vegan, gluten-free and soy-free.

15 g container

To rehydrate the morels, immerse them in a very hot liquid (broth, cream, wine, beer, water) until they return to a tender texture - 15 to 20 minutes should be enough. Then remove them and incorporate them into your recipe. Save the rehydration liquid to make homemade sauces or stocks - it's bursting with flavor!

Morels can be used everywhere! Delicious pan-fried, they can go very well with spicy and spicy dishes, but also with terrines, pasta dishes, risottos, and even meats in sauce. With their rehydration liquid, they make excellent bases for sauces, soups and braises. Like most wild mushrooms, they can also be used to add an umami and flavorful aspect to vegetarian or vegan dishes. Note that morels, like all wild mushrooms, must be cooked before being eaten.

Boreal roots

Since they are picked in a forest environment, you could find small conifer needles there. After rehydration, open the morel and simply remove them.

British Columbia, Canada.

Dehydrated morels keep very well when kept away from humidity and light, in an airtight container. It is still recommended to eat them as soon as possible within 12 months of their purchase to benefit from their best flavors.

The morel is among the most sought-after wild mushrooms because of its rarity and difficult picking, but above all because of its incomparable taste qualities. Foresty, umami and woody, we could say that the morel is the queen of forest mushrooms. It often grows in large quantities in areas that have been afflicted by wildfires the previous year - at this time it is called the fire morel. If you've never tried morels, you need to do so soon! So delicious and versatile, our morels are hand-picked from the forests of British Columbia and will lend a nutty, umami flavor to any dish you add them to.
