Porcini mushrooms are very versatile mushrooms. They can be added to sauces or pasta dishes, or even to a delicious mushroom risotto.
To rehydrate the porcini mushrooms, immerse them in a hot liquid (broth, cream, wine, beer, water) until they regain a tender texture - approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Then, remove them, cut them if necessary, and incorporate them into your recipe. Save the rehydration liquid to make homemade sauces or stocks - it's bursting with flavor! You can also make a powder from the dehydrated mushrooms, which can then be used as a seasoning.

Dehydrated porcini mushrooms keep for a long time when stored well away from light and humidity, but we recommend that you use them within 12 months of purchase to enjoy them at their best.
Porcini mushrooms are part of the same family of wild mushrooms as boletus. Among the most delicate in the family, they are however just as tasty. Their nutty taste is enhanced with a woody and earthy aspect.
