Preparation: Put 250 ml (1 cup) of millet in 425ml (1 3/4 cup) of boiling water. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Salt to taste.
Tips:
- Let the grains soak for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking them, then discard the water.
- Add your favorite spices to the cooking water or replace the cooking water with vegetable broth.
- Concoct a mixture of millet, quinoa and amaranth and place it in a rice cooker, respecting the same quantities of water and grains as those mentioned previously.
