Preparation: Always rinse the rice well 3 to 4 times before cooking to remove excess starch. Put 250 ml (1 cup) of rice in 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of water or broth. Cover and bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer gently for 15 to 20 minutes or until the liquid is completely absorbed. Remove from heat, add your favorite herbs and let sit for 5 minutes, covered. Remove the rice grains with a fork.
Can be prepared in a rice cooker using the same proportions.
May contain traces of wheat, nuts, sesame, soy and peanuts due to handling and sale in stores.
