Hemp Green Tea – Lime Green

This Lime green hemp green tea is a Pekoe Gunpowder from Sri Lanka. It is made up of pieces of lime, lemon, calendula and sunflower petals. Moreover, Gunpowder is one of the strongest green teas on the market. Gunpowder and lemon, it’s a magical combination!

Green tea

Green tea is very popular in Asia. This tea is not oxidized, which usually causes increased tannins and vegetal character. After picking, the leaves are withered, then rolled to extract the oils and then heated to neutralize the enzyme responsible for oxidation. Green tea has a flavor that is as delicate as it is refreshing.

Hemp seeds

We combine hemp seeds with very high quality tea, one of the best antioxidants. Hemp seeds are rich in omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids and are a perfect protein containing all 20 essential amino acids. These are therefore beneficial for hair, skin and nails. Additionally, they aid digestion and can alleviate joint pain caused by arthritis.

Suggested preparation and storage

Water temperature: 80°C / 185°F

Infusion: 1 to 3 minutes

Storage: It is best to store tea in a dry place and in an airtight, light-tight container. However, if you use glass jars, you will need to store them in a dark place to avoid damage.
