Jojoba “oil” is actually a fluid wax (in the fridge, it hardens like butter!). Its composition is very close to that of sebum; this is why it is very popular for facial care. It is also a balancing oil: it regulates the production of sebum in the skin and scalp, without leaving a greasy film.
All skin types will benefit from the properties of jojoba oil, including sensitive skin, acne-prone skin and oily skin. We love it in the manufacture of serums and butters for the face and hair.
