Raw cocoa butter comes from the nuts of the cocoa tree, a tree native to America and exploited by Mesoamerican civilizations for more than 4,000 years.
It is a very hard butter that is used in small quantities. Raw cocoa butter is very rich and nourishing; we therefore avoid it on the face, because it is comedogenic. However, raw cocoa butter can be suitable for the lips and eye area. Powerful antioxidant, it fights against skin aging. Its sweet chocolate smell is sublime!
