Black tea from Assam
Bukhial black tea from Assam (TGFOP) is exceptional. The geographical location of this garden is on the south side of the Brahmaputra River, India, in the state of Assam. This river is made of meanders which, over millennia of floods in the fall, have deposited a rich loam on this valley, resulting in deep, sandy soil.
The region has two seasons, the very hot, even scorching monsoon, and a dry and cool winter. These are perfect conditions for Assam tea plants. Note that it is located near the beautiful region called Nagaland.
Cultivated between 500 and 1500 feet above sea level, Bukhial from Assam is a famous tea. Orthodox tea grade TGFOP – Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe
