Darjeeling black tea - Margaret's hope – Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (TGFOP)

Margaret's Hope comes from the beautiful Darjeeling region of India. It is grown at a high altitude of 3500 – 7000 feet. More precisely, it is an orthodox tea picked at the best time of the year (late May to late June), which makes it an excellent quality tea.

Darjeelings are incomparable: they are also called 'The champagne of teas'. Their scent and taste form a complex bouquet of aromas: a little nutty, a little blackcurrant and revealing notes of muscat.

Since this tea is grown at high altitude and in cool weather, the tea plants do not grow quickly and production is very limited. Here, it is the 2nd harvest from the end of May to the end of June, which is the best time of the year for the quality of this tea.
