Description

Emmanuelle Langelot

Emmanuelle lives in Sherbrooke. In 2021, she launched Emmanuelle Langelot Illustrations following corporate launch training. Drawing since a young age, she studied decorative arts before continuing in graphic communication. It was at this moment that she realized that working with materials was much more her thing than graphic design. Although her favorite medium is watercolor, she also enjoys working with acrylic and Procreate. Shy and introverted, she likes cats and coffee. She imagines and creates illustrations according to the seasons and her inspirations which she transforms into posters and greeting cards. These latter are also special since flower seeds are integrated into the paper, which allows them to be planted in addition to giving them an original look. Its goal with this project is to offer original products while adding environmental values such as the choice of suppliers sharing the same values, the choice of recycled or revalorized materials and the limitation of waste in order to help our beautiful planet.

Seeded paper is handmade from recycled paper, collected from Canadian municipalities. This gives an original and textured look to the paper in addition to adding flower seeds. These all originate from Canada or the northern United States. They are GMO-free and considered non-invasive in North America: Silene (annual) Lobularia Maritima (annual) Antirrhinum (annual) Gilia Tricolor (annual) Rudbeckia (perennial) Clarkia (annual)

The envelopes used are made from recycled paper. Regarding packaging, when necessary, it is compostable or reused from a previous use in order to reduce polluting single-use packaging.
