The design and production of the wooden handles as well as the assembly of the razors are carried out by Créations Gaston, an artisan/cabinetmaker from Sherbrooke.

Here are the steps necessary to make a safety razor by Créations Gaston:

• Purchase of local wood - Walnut
• Cut
• Bring the items to the laser engraver
• Pick up the items from the engraver
• Painting the logo and the red line by hand
• Apply a protective varnish
• Assembly
• Finishing
• Delivery

Note that the stain and paint used are ecological and also that Gaston's wife, Johanne, who is a painter, takes care of applying these two products. So there is a lot of love in each of their creations. 😊
