Preparation: Put one part chia in eight parts water in an airtight container and shake every minute for about 6 to 8 minutes or until the chia remains suspended and no longer settles at the bottom of the container. This is called gummy chia. Use in your smoothies, cereals and yogurt.
Tip: To replace an egg as a binder, use 1 to 2 tbsp. at the table (1 part) of ground chia for 6 to 7 parts of water. Leave to gel for ten minutes and add to your recipe.
White chia seeds are freshly ground on request, in store, just for you.
